Our first album released in this formula and under this title is called "Colinde și Pricesne" and is released in 2019. It is a C.D. which comes from the desire to preserve the tradition of acoustic beauty in its native essence, through Romanian speech and Orthodox faith because from primordial times the song of the Romanian people oscillates between heaven and earth, carrying with it the holiness, untouched by the passing of centuries and by the incessant trials of evil to suppress it. Vespers, the title of some sound moments, harmonizations, processing and choral compositions on Byzantine musical themes from the orthodox evening liturgical ritual, located in the area of a modalism specific to psaltic music, in the interpretation of the male vocal group Etheros. The musical ideas used can be found in the book called Vecernier (publishing house of the Biblical and Mission Institute of the Romanian Orthodox Church, 1953 edition, Bucharest).
The atmosphere of these themes, texts and sound images refer to the circadian rhythm of life, to the balance between activity and rest, to the moments of the evening as moments in which we could move from activity and spread, to introspection, self-assembly and contemplation: Soft light of the holy glory of the heavenly Father… coming to the sunset seeing the evening light we praise the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit, God ... ”
